Abbie Alterman has 15 years of experience in biological resources and SWPPP inspection. She has avian experience in both field and veterinary settings including northern goshawks, California spotted owl, and willow flycatcher within the Lake Tahoe Basin and surrounding areas. Abbie has performed SWPPP inspections, reporting, and training for projects in the Tahoe Basin. She is well versed in assisting construction crews to install and maintain Best Management Practices (BMP) to protect project specific sediment and erosion control and stormwater runoff pollution prevention. For services provided by CIS to SWG under the existing As-Needed General Environmental Services contract, Abbie has performed as SWPPP Inspector on many projects.
